They were very helpful with contacting my insurance and taking care of the details. I asked a lot of questions and they answered honestly. I explained that I have a back injury and food allergies and they were able to accommodate me. I was given a room on the first floor and they made sure that there was plenty of food.

— Admissions process experience

I was in rough shape when I got to Crossroads. I was depressed and ashamed of myself and I didn’t know if I could stop drinking. The staff was very warm and welcoming. They gave me encouragement and good advice. They were easy to talk to and many were in recovery themselves. The psychiatrist was knowledgeable about the effects of alcohol and gave me insight into my disease.

— Experience with residential staff

It is a good step between inpatient and living independently without addiction. The group is fairly small and we all support each other. I’m still learning more about my addiction and how not to succumb to it. The more I learn the better equipped I feel to not relapse. The all-women setting makes it easier to open up about my alcoholism.

— IOP experience
